Beta testing will focus on validating CallScreenr’s core call-screening experience end-to-end under real-world conditions. Testers will:
Complete onboarding (permissions + setting CallScreenr as the default dialer) and confirm setup works on their device.
Receive and place test calls/texts to verify call handling, caller identification, notifications, and basic messaging reliability.
Test screening for unknown numbers, including viewing the caller summary/risk indicators and taking actions (answer, decline, block, report).
Verify voicemail/call log behavior and confirm transcripts/summaries (where enabled) match the interaction.
Stress-test edge cases: poor signal, Wi-Fi calling, Bluetooth/headsets, DND, dual-SIM, and switching default dialer back and forth.
Report bugs and usability issues (crashes, delays, wrong labels, permissions problems) and share feedback on clarity of the UI and wording.
Success criteria: onboarding completion rate, stable call handling, accurate labeling for unknown callers, fast UI response, and no critical crashes or blocked-call regressions.
